Members win awards at local youth festival

Congratulations to WFG members Curtis L. Wiebe and Sam Karney on winning awards at the 2nd Annual WBYO Dreams Film Festival.

The West Broadway Youth Outreach (WBYO) is a drop-in recreational & life skills program for youth aged 4-12 in the West Broadway area & beyond. They provide year round, free after-school & summer programming in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

WBYO ensures that local children have opportunities to learn and grow in an atmosphere where their basic emotional, social and educational needs are met and supported by positive role models.

The 2nd Annual Festival was held Friday Sept 11, 2015 at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
The three top awards are:

The Dreams Award for Top Film – Walter by Curtis L. Wiebe
~ $500.00 plus schwag and a one year membership to On Screen MB. ~

Most Splendiferous Film for Second Place – Sandi by Lindsey Dorie
~$250.00~

Fabulously Phenomenal Award for Third Place – Heart by Sam Karney
~$100.00~

Walter and Heart are both featured in our Distribution Catalogue.
