    The 2nd Annual Barry Lank Memorial Award is presented by DOC Manitoba and the Winnipeg Film Group, in conjunction with the annual Gimme Some Truth Festival. The award is given to those who have shown exemplary work in the social awareness / social justice film genre as showcased in a particular documentary film. It is named in honour of Barry Lank csc, a Winnipeg-born film director and producer. The award recognizes a documentary that embodies Barry's dedication to the craft and passion for storytelling. Deadline: April 15, 2022

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.

The Winnipeg Film Group is located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Métis Nation. We offer our respect and gratitude to the traditional caretakers of this land.
