In this hands on workshop, participants will use all the digital cameras the WFG has to offer. As they shoot footage and work with it in post production they will gain a better understanding of how to use the cameras and what can be done with the images that are produced. The overall goal of this workshop is to leave participants feeling confident in their knowledge of cameras and what is possible with each of them. Participants will be able to work with all the digital cameras the film group has to offer including the Sony FS7, a7s3 and Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 6k pro. The 9th will consist of using DaVinci resolve to colour the footage shot during the workshop.

• How to rig or build a mirrorless camera for more versatile shootting options
• Colouring basics in DaVinci Resolve
About the Instructor:
Ryan Offenloch is excited to return for another WFG workshop. He has worked as a focus puller, camera operator and colourist on a variety of projects including documentaries, music videos, web series, tv shows and features. He’s looking forward to sharing what he’s learned over the years while helping participants feel confident about the camera they choose for their next project.
