Please join us on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the Black Lodge for Way Out: Films from the Depths of the Winnipeg Film Group (WFG) Archive!

“WAY OUT” is a collection of “out there” films curated by Ryan Steel, the WFG’s Ex-Digital Catalogue Assistant, selected over 6 months spent cataloguing ALL of the +1100 films currently in distribution at the WFG.

The program focuses on bizarre comedy, great synth soundtracks, and most of all dives deep into the under seen crevices of the WFG’s archival vault. The screening includes many BRAND NEW digital scans of short films from the 1970s up until the 2000s.

“WAY OUT” promises a fun time for all, as well as something new for even the biggest WFG aficionado.
