Dear Members of the Winnipeg Film Group,
As you all are most likely aware, the Province of Manitoba is lifting all restrictions and mandates related to the COVID-19 pandemic by March 15.
We have been discussing internally with our staff here at the Winnipeg Film Group and Cinematheque, trying to assess what is the best course of action to ensure the safety and comfort of our staff and patrons moving forward after the restrictions are lifted. We have decided that, for now, we will continue to require patrons to present QR code proof of vaccination along w/ valid government ID to participate in all in-person activities, and the use of masks in our spaces and the Artspace building at all times.
It is not a decision that we’ve made lightly or without great consideration. However, if you do take issue with our decision and feel the need to express your opinion, we ask that you please direct it to director@winnipegfilmgroup.com, and do so in a calm, respectful manner.
The continued support of our membership and the amazing team here at the Winnipeg Film Group has gotten us through these difficult last two years. We couldn’t have done it without all of you.
