We are happy to announce that our Archive/Counter-Archive Education Guide is now available!
Titled Welcome to the Neighbourhood: Inside the Winnipeg Film Group’s Indigenous Film and Video Collections, the educational guide is accompanied by a program of ten films curated by Lita Fontaine for classroom viewing. The educational guide features a conversation about the curatorial process, community connections, and the importance of cultural representation with Lita Fontaine and the WFG’s ACA Case Study team: Andrew Burke, Jillian Groening, and Skye Callow.
The guide also includes suggested questions for classroom discussions. It is recommended for Highschool and Undergraduate levels of study.
The guide itself is free to download and the corresponding film program can be rented on VUCAVU.
