Four Winnipeg filmmakers will have their short films featured at the 30th annual REEL PRIDE Film Festival on Weds Oct 14 @ 7PM. The short film competition is always strong and has so much emotion and heart we highly recommend you attend and support the filmmakers and the longest running Film Festival in Winnipeg!
WFG distributed films Boy Toys by Trevor Kristjanson and You And Me In A City by Eric Plamondon will vie for the Audience Choice Award and Jury Choice Award along. Also screening are two films by Madison Thomas and one by Chad Hutsebaut, both from Winnipeg.
REEL PRIDE is held October 13-18 at the Gas Station Theatre.

Tues, Oct 13 @ 6PM – REEL PRIDE Opening Night featuring the unveiling of the Reel Pride 30th Anniversary Art Project: From Screen To Screen. Exhibition Curator: Kegan McFadden, featuring artwork by: Chlöe Chafe, Vincent Chevalier and Ian Bradley-Perrin, Demian Diné Yazhi’, Rosalie Favell, Larry Glawson, Toni Latour, Doug Melnyk, and Grace Rosario Perkins.
Weds, Oct 14 @ 6PM – Totally OUTRight, premiere screening of a film created by participants of the Totally OUTRight program, a sexual health leadership training program for young Gay, BI, Queer, and Two-Spirit male-identified youth in Winnipeg.
Thurs, Oct 15 @ 7PM – A Day In The Life Of A Bull-Dyke, directed by Shawna Dempsey and Lorri Millan plays with P4W: Prison For Women, directed by Janis Cole and Holly Dale
Thurs, Oct 15 @ 7PM – À Tout Prendre [Take It All], directed By Claude Jutra plays with I Know What It’s Like To Be Dead, directed By Bruce LaBruce
Sat, Oct 17 @ 1PM – INDUSTRY DAY – Reel Pride is proud to offer an opportunity for filmmakers, industry workers and regular audience-goers to join in an afternoon of discussion.
