FREEDOM CAUCUS RECAP (Please Read First)…
Seeking Membership Assistance: On April 11, 2017 the WFG Production Centre hosted its first Freedom Caucus of the year in Cinematheque. Many topics were discussed, but in short, in May 2017 we will be submitting our 3 year proposal to the Canada Council for the Arts, this grant will cover everything from staff salary to equipment to programming for the next 3 years. Attached are 3 PDFs corresponding to the 3 headline links with instructions below – some of these PDFs may not interest you or may be out of your scope, so to maximize this post, feel free to read those topics and download the PDFs that affect or appeal to you most. Production Centre Equipment 2017-2020 Link
Above is a PDF link to a rough sketch of all the equipment, maintenence and safety that we intend to purchase and upgrade between now till June 2020. We welcome any requests or suggestions from the membership to help us make relevant and better informed purchases. Please try to be realistic when you make requests and suggestions, we can not promise that we will get everything that we ask for, so please bare with the process and be patient. We seek your suggestions and requests for gear that we currently have on the list and we especially could use suggestions on all analog gear.
