ISKWÉ partners with VUCAVU for FREE program

In honour of National Aboriginal Day, VUCAVU is proud to present “The Indigenous Eye,” a new, free #EyesOnVU program curated by Indigenous artist, Iskwé. 

Iskwé, an electronic musician from Winnipeg, selected four films from the Winnipeg Film Group catalogue, including IKWÉ by Caroline Monnet, Indigo by Amanda Strong, Sam Karney’s Heart, and A Common Experience by Shane Belcourt. Her program also includes an interview with Daina Warren, Director of Urban Shaman Contemporary Aboriginal Gallery.
