You’re invited to a party! Join us as The Winnipeg Indigenous Filmmakers Collective celebrates 8 years of gathering and creating.
We’ll be transforming Winnipeg Film Group’s HQ into a multimedia atmosphere. The third floor is reserved for our showcase gathering! On November 26th between 7-10pm, Indigenous Filmmakers share space in a creative place. November marks the IFC’s 8th anniversary and we’d love to have you join us in celebration! 🎉
We’ll be serving up a variety of great food, and arranging a beverage station with creative drinks (named after our faves). The night will screen films by Indigenous Filmmakers Collective members, with music.. There will be a game station hosted by community volunteers with fun prizes, photo station, interactive community art, and cake!
Since year one, the IFC has held monthly meetings in the spirit of connection, collaboration and creativity. We’ve seen many successes and growth within our members. Please join our members as we come together in celebration of collaborative artistry, community, storytelling and an overall good time.
About the IFC: The Winnipeg Indigenous Filmmakers Collective hosts meetings every second Wednesday of the month at the Winnipeg Film Group! The collective is a safe space for Indigenous filmmakers to share, connect, and learn.
We encourage all Indigenous filmmakers and allies to come down for food and a chance to network with other filmmakers. Hear about all the opportunities being offered to the collective.
