Add movement to your films with Adobe After Effects, the industry standard for creating motion graphics. Whether its creating a film title that moves to add life to your project, or making animation to draw in viewers, our instructor Abby Falvo will show you the basics of creating motion graphics to make your projects pop.
This one day workshop will teach students the basic skills of Adobe After Effects including creating moving titles from scratch, importing and animating vector images from other programs, and animation skills that can be applied to other programs.
This course is intended for beginners with Adobe After Effects. Experience with other Adobe products such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator are an asset but not required. Computers with the latest version of Adobe After Effects are made available in the Winnipeg Film Group lab, however students are recommended to bring their laptops with a recent version of Adobe After Effects installed and tested (Free 7 day trial: https://www.adobe.com/ca/products/aftereffects.html). All other materials will be provided.
