Imagine you just received a hard drive containing all of the raw video and audio footage of a film project. What would be the first step for you as the movie editor? What are the technical issues that you are going to face during the process? What are the most important points in the final steps of editing a movie?

 

 

You will learn:

• Soft skills in project management as a movie editor
• Working with Premiere Pro on a movie project (Exploring different sections of the program)
• Technics of finding the best match between two sequences
• Adding tiles, Color correction, and audio leveling
• Export management

Laptops recommended!

 

 

About the instructor:

Ashkan Nejadebrahimi is an Iranian multi-disciplinary artist who moved to Canada/Winnipeg around 2 years ago to study for his Master’s degree in fine art. He edits movies and videos as a freelancer and his studio practice is focused on abstract drawing and sculpture.

The Winnipeg Film Group reserves the right to cancel any course where the minimum registration has not been met. Anyone registered for a course that has been cancelled is eligible for a full refund, Cancelled course fees may also be used towards any other Winnipeg Film Group training programs.
