Local filmmaker Heidi Phillips is therecipient of the 2011 Manitoba Film Hothouse Award for CreativeDevelopment. This award, valued at $15,000, is designed to draw attention to the local directing talent Manitoba has right here at home.

The 2010 edition of the 48 Hour Film Contest was an overwhelming success. We had a tie for First Place and gave out an Audience Choice Award. PLUS, we have added a second screening!
