The Winnipeg Film Group is a charitable artist-run centre.

We are dedicated to supporting the creation, distribution, and exhibition of independent film in Manitoba. For over 50 years, we’ve fostered a vibrant community of filmmakers and media artists through access to equipment, training programs, distribution & promotion, and the Dave Barber Cinematheque.

Our staff is unionized under IATSE Local 63, and we are committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive workplace. All employees, volunteers, and community members are expected to uphold our Safer Spaces Policy, which guides our shared responsibility to create a welcoming environment for all.
