CALL FOR AGENDA ITEMS FOR SGM

Jan 29, 2014

Dear Winnipeg Film Group members,

Our last AGM was very active and those who attended brought up a number of issues. As a result, thirteen members have signed and delivered to me a call for a Special General Meeting. An active community is a great sign that we have a vital organization and I hope this meeting will be very positive and productive.

However, as no agenda item was attached to the SGM request, we’re putting out a call to all members for agenda items in order to facilitate the spirit of this meeting request. The deadline for submitting agenda items to info@winnipegfilmgroup.com is Friday, February 14, 2014 at 4 PM.

We are asking for items by this date as to insure we can review them against the laws and regulations the organization must adhere to. This process will also provide members attending the meeting time to review the agenda in full, and give us ample time to mail out hard copies of the agenda.

If you wish to refer to the WFG’s bylaws, they can be found on the governance section of the WFG’s website.

The Special General Meeting will be scheduled within the next two months and take place at the Cinematheque.

Sincerely,
Ryan Simmons
President of the Board of Directors
