The Winnipeg Film Group is pleased to partner with Young Lungs Dance Exchange to present an evening of screen dance. 

Each film touches on relationships with nature, with self, and with other through performance ritual. Documenting the dancing body with curiosity and care, themes including gender, fertility, and queer joy overspill the parameters of the screen.

By Donation. All proceeds are In support of the premiere production of the live show at The Dance Centre in Vancouver.

ANATOMALIA was filmed in the Catalunian countryside by Linnea Swan and premiered at Rechenzentrum Potsdam. 

This month, 10 dancers and designers will gather for a two-week production residency and followed by a three-show premiere. The event is supported by a queer chorus, members of Rainbow Refugee, at The Dance Centre in Vancouver.

 

Accessibility Information:

The main entrances of the Art Space Building at Arthur St. and King St. have automatic door push triggers. 

The West side entrance off King St. has a wheelchair lift to access the main lobby. 

There are two washrooms on the third floor that are private, locking, and non-gendered. These washrooms do not have handrails or automatic doors. 

The first floor has non-gendered, multi-stall washrooms. Washrooms on these floors have wheelchair accessible stalls with handrails, but do not have automatic doors.
