a short film by Noa Blanche Beschorner
14:28 | Documentary, Experimental | Colour | May 2024
A modern day city symphony of Berlin – a city whose inhabitants, streets and movements inspire the traveler’s observations.
Taking the form of language exercises, Sous le soleil exactement is a tribute to the city symphonies of Berlin – a city whose inhabitants, streets and movements inspire the traveler’s observations. Noa Blanche Beschorner returns to her native Germany and, through editing, creates a dialogue between spaces – sometimes populated, then deserted. A meditative film, where time and space set the tone.

In Good Hands
a short film by Vanda Fleury
4:33 | Experimental | Colour | December 2021
A resilient Métis woman seeks birth justice through family and cultural narratives.
The poetry-film, ‘In Good Hands’ is a Métis woman’s expression of birth sovereignty, punctuated by intimate experiences of motherhood. She traces the storylines of identity to ancestral birthwork, spirit names, and kinship connections. It is a show of resistance that contributes to dismantling colonial narratives that devalue and ignore Indigenous women’s life experiences.
