Registration for all workshops is on a first pay, first serve basis. Payment in FULL is required to secure a space in all workshops. Enrollment is limited.

Q: I’m having trouble signing up for a workshop!
A: If you’re having trouble signing up for a workshop, please email training@winnipegfilmgroup.com or call (204) 925-3456 (ext. 111) during our office hours. We can help!
Q: Can my child sign up for a workshop?
A: Unless specified otherwise, we generally like to keep our workshops ages 13+, or 16+ for more advanced topics. If you’re unsure, please email training@winnipegfilmgroup.com.
Q: Do I need to bring anything to my workshop?
A: Unless it says so on the workshop post, you usually don’t need to bring anything. However sometimes based on the subject matter, it can be good to bring a notebook and pen.
Q: What about lunch?
A: If a workshop goes over the lunch hour, you are responsible for your own lunch; whether that be going to a restaurant in the area, or packing your own lunch from home.
Q: Is there somewhere I can park my car during my workshop?
A: Unfortunately parking in our area can be a bit difficult. WFG does not have any of our own spots, but there are usually plenty of metered spots around, and there’s a paid parkade nearby as well.
Q: Can I have a discount on my workshop price?
A: If you get a General Membership, you typically get $15-$30 off your workshop registration fee. Other than that, WFG workshops are priced accordingly to ensure that instructors are paid fairly and we can provide any supplies needed.
Q: Do I need a membership to sign up for a workshop?
A: You do not need a membership to sign up for a workshop! A membership will simply give you a discount on your registration fee, but is not mandatory.
Q: Are there any prerequisites for this workshop?
A: Unless it says otherwise on the workshop description, there are usually no prerequisites for any of our workshops here at WFG.
Q: I’m signed up for a series workshop and I can’t attend one of the dates.
A: Generally, it is preferred that you attend all workshop dates you are signed up for. For special cases, please email training@winnipegfilmgroup.com and we might be able to accommodate you depending on the circumstances.
