Submissions for the 2025 MFM HOTHOUSE AWARD FOR CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT are now OPEN!
Submissions are due Monday, September 15th, 2025 (5:00PM)
The MFM Hothouse Award for Creative Development is designed for an established Manitoba filmmaker to develop their career by providing them with this award for self-directed development.
This award includes $10,000 in cash & $5,000 in Winnipeg Film Group (WFG) services, and a WFG General Membership and WFG Production Add-On. Additionally, the award-recipient will be provided with a special retrospective screening of their work as a director-creator at the Dave Barber Cinematheque.
There is one award annually.
A filmmaker can receive the MFM Hothouse Award for Creative Development only once.
