Easter Long Weekend Closure Notice

CLOSURE NOTICE

The WFG Office and Production Rentals will be closed for the Easter long weekend on Friday, April 3 and Monday April 6, reopening on Tuesday, April 7.

Please plan your film production and facilities rentals accordingly.

FUN FACT: Bugs Bunny (image from “Easter Yeggs”) was designed by Charles “Charlie” Gustav Thorson (born Karl Gustaf Stefanson), character designer, children’s book author and illustrator born in Gimli, Manitoba in 1890. He went on to create hundreds of cartoon characters, including Elmer Fudd, and also worked at Disney Studios, Harman-Ising, MGM, and then Warner Bros. and Fleischer Studios.

The Winnipeg Film Group and Dave Barber Cinematheque is located on Treaty One Territory and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
