And a huge thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported the Winnipeg Film Group. Every ticket helps us continue our work as an artist-run charitable organization supporting independent film and filmmakers.
Your support helps us:
- Keep screenings at the Dave Barber Cinematheque affordable and sustain Manitoba’s only year-round cinema dedicated to regularly screening Canadian and independent films.
- Provide low-cost and free filmmaking workshops, creating opportunities for youth, emerging filmmakers and underserved communities to learn and make work.
- Support fellow non-profits and community organizations through our Community Sponsorship Program, providing low-cost or no-cost access to WFG equipment, facilities and services.
- Promote Manitoba and Canadian independent filmmakers to audiences around the world through our Distribution Department.
