Winnipeg Film Group Presents – Now available on Bell MTS Fibe TV1!

We are excited to announce that our new TV series, Winnipeg Film Group Presents, is now available on demand on Bell MTS Fibe TV1!

We invited local curators, artists and filmmakers to select and discuss new and contemporary films by Winnipeg filmmakers.

The curators include Alexa Potashnik, Andrew Burke, Charlene Moore & Ryan Wilson, Darryl Nepinak, John Scoles & Mike Maryniuk, Shawna Dempsey & Lorri Millan, and Noor Bhangu.

35 films from our Distribution catalogue were selected, including films by Alex Ateah, Bisong Taiwo, Colin Morton, Curtis Wiebe, Darryl Nepinak, Dave Barber, Ed Ackerman, Elise Swerhone, Erica Eyres, Gregory Zbitnew, Gwen Trutnau & Karen Asmundson, Hagere Selam Zegeye-Gebrehiwot, Jackie Traverse, Jon Krocker, Katherena Vermette & Sam Karney, Kevin Gable & Madison Thomas, Kristin Snowbird, Leslie Supnet, Marlon Wiebe, Matthew Rankin, Mike Maryniuk, Milos Mitrovic, Ramtin Teymouri & Walter Dyck, Rhayne Vermette, Trevor Kristjanson, and Winston Washington Moxam.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.

The Winnipeg Film Group is located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Métis Nation. We offer our respect and gratitude to the traditional caretakers of this land.
