WFG Distribution is pleased to announce that The Samaritan will be making its festival world premiere at the California Independent Film Festival!
Directed by Harrison Houde and produced by Dakota Daulby, The Samaritan is a short action film in which a young man defined by homelessness is recruited into an underground fight club.
It will screen on Saturday, September 16 at the Castro Theatre at 1pm, preceding the feature film, A Thousand Junkies, directed by Tommy Swerdlow.
CAIFF, founded in 1997, is an annual, premier showcase for independent, foreign, and mainstream films. Its 20th iteration will take place Sept 7-16, 2017 in San Francisco Bay Area. Helen Hunt is this year’s special guest.
