The UWpg Film Fest starts tonight!
The Winnipeg Film Group is proud to sponsor this wonderful festival!
The Winnipeg Film Group’s own Mike Maryniuk (long time member and current vice president of the WFG board of directors) is going to be the festival keynote speaker on Friday night!
Additionally, our Cinematheque Operations Manager, David Knipe, will be moderating a panel on Wednesday night titled “What is Producing/What is a Producer?”. Also, our Distribution Coordinator, Steph Berrington, will be a panel participant on Thursday night’s panel “Self-Distribution/Distribution – Getting your film out there!”
Since 2002, UWPG Film Fest has showcased the work of post-secondary filmmakers from across North America. The festival provides the opportunity for emerging filmmakers to screen their work – a key component to the filmmaking process. The festival is free to submit to and attend.
