Oct 4, 2017

We are delighted to welcome Anne-Marie Bouchard as our Artist in Residence for the next 6 weeks!

Anne-Marie Bouchard graduated in Film Production from Concordia University, Montréal in 1995 and earned an M.A. in Arts Visuels degree from Université Laval, Québec in 1999. Since then, she directed several experimental videos and installations. Her work has been shown in festivals like Chicago International Music and Movies Festival (Chicago, USA)  International Film Festival Ireland (Clonmel, Ireland), Cinema on the bayou (Lafayette, Louisiana, USA), Les Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québécois in Montréal, Fantasia, le Festival International du Film sur l’Art (FIFA, Montréal), Traverse Video (Toulouse, France), Instants Vidéo (Marseille, France), San Diego Underground Film festival (San Diego, USA), amongst others.

We have outlined a range of activities, workshops and people that she should meet while in town. We have Oxberry (Rhayne instructor) and a Hand Processing (Borowski instructor) workshops set up, the Women’s Network will be meeting in October, and the following festivals will be going on: WNDX, Cinémental, Nuit Blanche, Send & Receive, and part of Gimmie Some Truth will all be going on during her stay.
