Production Equipment
All Filmmakers should be cognizant of the Provincial Guidelines surrounding film production HERE.
The Winnipeg Film Group maintains a film and video equipment rentals program as a means of supporting independent film production in Winnipeg and Manitoba. We also support the needs of other non-profit organizations within the community, as a secondary priority.
Individuals and not-for-profit organizations wishing to access our production and post production equipment and facilities rentals program must be a WFG GENERAL MEMBER with a PRODUCTION ADD ON to access equipment in our organization (refer to our membership page for more information).
Please make sure to examine our rentals policy.
BOOKINGS
Bookings can be made in person during our regular office hours, or by email. Booking in advance is always optimal, as we have limited equipment available.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ASSISTANCE
As per our rentals policy, the use of WFG equipment or facilites is a form of assistance that our organization provides filmmakers / video artists, and as such the Winnipeg Film Group must be acknowledged in the credits of any film or video production receiving such assistance. Our logo is available for download for this purpose.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE that while we post not-for-profit organizational rates, we are unable to provide any equipment which would be used for commercial projects. We are not a resource for commercial productions. We encourage people working on commercial or industry-related projects to seek equipment from one of the many commercial equipment houses in Winnipeg.
