2019 Afro Prairie Film Festival (Single Tickets)

Black Space Winnipeg in partnership with the Winnipeg Film Group are pleased to present the second annual Afro Prairie Film Festival happening February 21 – 24.

The Afro Prairie Film Festival is the first Black-centric film festival in the prairie region of Canada. Our four-day festival celebrates Black cinema across North America and promotes the work of established and emerging Black filmmakers from right here in Manitoba. Participants are welcome to a weekend filled with programming that explores Black narratives in filmmaking.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.
