Please welcome our new Operations Manager Melissa Van Soelen

Mar 14, 2019

We are pleased to announce that Melissa Van Soelen has joined the WFG team as our Operations Manager.

Melissa is excited to apply her experience in community based supports and program development to the Winnipeg Film Group. Having worked for over 10 years with non-profit organizations, she’s obsessed with producing innovative new ways of creating efficient work-flows, administrative organization and quality programming which proves useful and effective.

Melissa is driven to be the best version of herself and develop procedures with passionate purpose. Learning from industry leaders at Merit Motion Pictures, she embraces facilitated leadership and collaborative teamwork. She is always looking for opportunities to improve work environments and to challenge herself as well as the status quo. She has demonstrated leadership in change management and strives for continuous advancement to programs that engage the community and expand the appreciation of independent cinema.
