8 Films From Catalogue Screen at Photophobia!

Aug 8, 2019

We are ecstatic to announce that eight films from the Winnipeg Film Group catalogue are screening at the 13th annual Photophobia: Contemporary Moving Image Festival in Hamilton, Ontario!

Tonight (Thursday, August 8) at Art Gallery of Hamilton, there will be an outdoor screening in the Irving Zucker Sculpture Garden, including films by Leslie Supnet, Solomon Nagler, Patrick Jenkins, Matthew Ripplinger, Pixie Cram and James Pomeroy.

On Saturday, August 10th, the second program will take place at Hamilton Artists Inc.’s ArcelorMittal Dofasco Courtyard, which includes films by Caroline Blais and Ryan Steel!

Congratulations to the filmmakers and artists! We wish the team at Photophobia: Contemporary Moving Image Festival a wonderful festival!

From their website: Established in 1999, Photophobia is Hamilton’s first film and video festival dedicated to the development of experimental time-based media. Not confined by restrictions or themes, Photophobia is a free, juried festival that invites the community to experience a showcase of contemporary work that tests the boundaries of each medium.
