Manitoba Film & Music, in association with William F. White and Winnipeg Film Group, announcement of Production Fund, Post-Production Fund & First Film Fund Recipients

The Winnipeg Film Group (WFG) is pleased to announce the Fall 2018 Manitoba Film & Music (MFM) Production Fund & 2019 First Film Fund recipients. These funds are provided with the generous support of MFM and services are provided by and in association with William F. White (WFW) and the WFG.

2019 First Film Fund Recipients:

About the Production Fund:
The Winnipeg Film Group’s (WFG) MFM PRODUCTION FUND (in association with William F. White and the Winnipeg Film Group) is designed to assist WFG members in the development of their artistic careers by providing support towards the production and/or post-production of film projects in the form of cash and/or services awards.

About the First Film Fund:

The Winnipeg Film Group’s MFM FIRST FILM FUND (in association with William F. White and the Winnipeg Film Group) is designed to assist aspiring/beginning filmmakers to make their first film.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Thanks to the valuable support of MANITOBA FILM & MUSIC (MFM) for over 10 years we have been able to assist over 200 Manitoba filmmakers create, market, and screen their films through our various Funds.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.

The Winnipeg Film Group is located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Métis Nation. We offer our respect and gratitude to the traditional caretakers of this land.
