Synopsis

Sexy Days, Deadly Nights is a comedic exploration of failure. The 7 minute film takes the form of The Worst Feature Movie Ever Made. Rather than sit through the terrible film, we (the viewer) decide to switch on the subtitles and the director’s commentary. The filmmaker behind the disaster, Samuel P. Rose, laments his inept creation. We skip from gratuitous (but tasteful) sex scenes, to vampire mafia attacks, to nuclear explosions as the film spirals out of control and the commentary becomes increasingly bizarre. The film becomes a way of re-evaluating something terrible in a new light, and a method of redemption for an artist ashamed of his work.
