Synopsis

In Other Half Dating Service, the artist references dating videos from the 1980s where individuals would discuss the type of partner they were looking for. Going back and forth between a split screen, Alex plays four characters which are each based on a facet of her personality however, greatly exaggerated. The artist is interested in exploring her desire to find her “other half” while juggling the complex layers of her personality and what she is truly looking for.
