Are you interested in writing for television? Well look no further because this is the class for you!

Class overview:

I’ve spent over a decade working as a writer in television and film, it’s time to share what I know and help you workshop your screenplay/synopsis/story and share your work for constructive feedback. We’ll  work together to bring out your unique voice and uncover the best way to get a reader to respond to your words on the page. – Chris Charney

About the instructor:
Chris Charney is a writer and showrunner whose television projects have aired around the world. He has created kids shows, medical shows, and food series for Canadian and international broadcasters and developed content with major networks. He also works as a story editor for feature films. His film Wild Cherry has been viewed and downloaded illegally a lot and has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of “not very fresh”. Chris nearly won a Canadian Comedy Award for writing it, but didn’t.. He continues to help create shows for Winnipeg’s Farpoint Films, even daring to write feature films and original tv pilots.

Together we’ll create a plan on how to get your screenplay into the right hands. We’ll workshop our pitching skills, each person bringing with them how to talk about the story they’ve spent so much time developing and writing.

  • Pitch meetings with people who may help
