The top foreign film of the year. Parasite is on virtually every critic’s TOP TEN list and certain to win more awards. In this exhilarating film, a threadbare family of four, struggling to make ends meet, hatches a scheme to work for, and infiltrate, the wealthy household of an entrepreneur, his seemingly frivolous wife, and their troubled kids. Their best-laid plans spiral into destruction and madness making for one of the wildest, scariest, and most unexpectedly affecting movies in years.

*Winner of the prestigious Palme d’Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

Reviews

Parasite begins in exhilaration and ends in devastation, but the triumph of the movie is that it fully lives and breathes at every moment, even when you might find yourself struggling to exhale.
– Justin Chang , La Times
Fiendishly well-crafted... Giddy one moment, unbearably tense the next...so entertaining and fine-tuned that you don’t even notice when it’s changing gears.
