The MFM First Film Fund deadline is coming up on Thursday January 18.  If you are interested in possibly applying to the first film fund, we are providing an info session with interested applicants. Pre -registration is required to attend this info session. If you have any questions or concerns about the fund, please bring these to the info session!

What is the MFM First Film Fund?

The Winnipeg Film Group’s MFM FIRST FILM FUND is an all-inclusive fund, which provides $2,000 in cash and $2,000 in services towards a small film or video project. This fund supports work in narrative, experimental and documentary, or hybrid/cross-genre work.

Some points that will be discussed:

  • Explaining why your film needs to be made.
  • Organizing your schedule of major activities in a realistic manner.
  • Getting your budget finalized.
