The Creative Manitoba Youth Group Filmmaking Mentorship is a program for aspiring filmmakers to get valuable guidance from an array of working professionals in Manitoba’s film industry. Each week the group joins a video call with someone involved in a different aspect of filmmaking. The topics will range from independent filmmaking, how to get into Manitoba’s film industry, distributing your film, and various technical skills. There will also be an independent study where each filmmaker makes their own movie and gets feedback from established filmmakers. This program is the place for young filmmakers to network and accelerate their careers.
