A catastrophic event sparks a young Norwegian woman’s memories of the five people who loved her most in the visually stunning feature debut of West Coast musician and filmmaker Andrew Huculiak (drummer for We Are the City). Violent is the tale of Dagne, a young Norwegian girl who attempts to escape her small-town life. She soon finds herself hanging out with other assorted outcasts, including a comically suicidal young man who hasn’t slept in weeks, and the lovelorn owner of the small store where she finds work.
