The second feature from Nathan Morlando more than delivers on the promise of his debut Edwin Boyd: Citizen Gangster which won Best Canadian Feature at TIFF in 2011. The life of teenaged Jonas is dominated by his father’s struggle to keep the family afloat. When Casey moves in down the road, the two click immediately. But while most parents would be happy to see their children find this kind of relationship, Jonas’ father sees Casey as a distraction while Casey’s father Wayne (Bill Paxton), an alcoholic police detective, sees Jonas as competition.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.
