2011, USA, 103 min

The loveable Muppets are back. Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to bulldoze the Muppet Theater and drill for oil. Together, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit the Frog reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways, and stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever in order to raise the $10 million needed to save the theatre.

Plays with: Everybody Gets a Synthesizer for Christmas / Directed by Curtis L. Wiebe, 2016, Canada, 3 min / Synthmaster Alan, the smallest synthesizer-ist of them all has travelled via VHS all the way from the 1980’s to deliver a very special message!

Reviews

An unexpected treat. Bright and perky, cheeky but never mean-spirited.
