Architecture+Design Film Fest: Leaving Delhi

Sat, May 4 / 7 pm
Directed by Etienne Desrosiers
2019, Canada, 80 min
French, Hindi and English with subtitles

Q&A with Etienne Desrosiers.

After studying with French architect Eugène Beaudoin in Switzerland, Canadian modernist architect Luc Durand started his career in Delhi at the turn of the fifties, a decisive period that would impact many of his projects back in Canada, including the Quebec Pavilion at Expo 67 and the Olympic Village for the 1976 Games. Now at 84, he’s back in New Delhi, and another journey begins.

Sponsored by h5 architecture.

Now in its eighth year, the Architecture + Design Film Festival (www.adff.ca) presents critically acclaimed films on architecture and design in everyday life. Presented by the Winnipeg Architecture Foundation, Urban Idea and Cinematheque. Sponsored by Winnipeg Foundation, MAA and Stantec Architecture.
