Afro Prairie Film Festival: Masterclass with Tonya Williams

Sun, Feb 23 / 12 pm
Black Lodge Studio (Room 304, Artspace)

Award-winning actress, activist and founder of ReelWorld Film Festival Tonya Williams will present this masterclass open to all filmmakers of all experience levels, emerging creatives, students or anyone interested in gaining experience from an industry professional. With over two decades of industry experience, including an impressive tenure as Olivia Barber Hastings Winters on TV’s The Young and The Restless from 1990-2012, Tonya will encourage participants to take the next step in their performing arts journey. This event is open to all, but priority will be given to Black women and minority groups historically excluded in the film industry.

Sponsored by ACTRA Manitoba.
