Sponsored by Chosabi: On Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 7pm to 9pm (doors open at 6pm) the 48 Hour Film Contest will screen at the Metropolitan Entertainment Centre. The theatre will seat 400 people and all 27 films that were submitted will screen at this prestigious theatre. There will be a reception afterwards with catered munchies and alcohol and beverages, a gift for all ticket-holders, a silent auction and some Peoples Choice Awards. Everyone should have no problem getting their friends and family to this event, though we anticipate it could sell out so please buy your tickets online on the WFG website!! Directors get two free tickets.

CONGRATS ALL PARTICIPANTS!!! We are proud of your effort!!! It was exceptionally competitive this year, collectively some of the best films yet, so everyone should take great pride in their participation.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.
