Found in Translation / Traduction Fidèle: French Film Touring Program

Found in Translation / Traduction Fidèle

Canadian Films for French Audiences / Des films canadiens pour les spectateurs francophones

Touring / en tournèe de
2018-2019

The Winnipeg Film Group’s Distribution Department has hundreds of amazing (funny, poignant, thoughtful, quirky) short films in our collection and we wanted to share them with a broader audience. Some of these uniquely Canadian stories were largely inaccessible to French audiences here in Canada and around the world. With a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts we were able to translate and subtitle over 30 titles. We hope that our French-speaking friends enjoy these films and the four curated programs we have put together.

For more information on the films or to book a tour in your centre or city please contact us!
