Cinematheque Statement re: COVID-19

Mar 12, 2020

To all patrons of Cinematheque,

Please rest assured that our top priority is to be mindful of the health and safety of our staff and patrons at Cinematheque. We are keeping a close watch on public health updates and news regarding COVID-19 (the coronavirus). We pride ourselves on creating a safe space for the enjoyment of enriching international cinema and will continue with our regular scheduled operations with your safety and health precautions in mind.

We are continually monitoring official public health channels and staying informed on best practices and additional precautions such as ensuring that the shared surfaces in our cinema, doorknobs and washrooms are sanitized throughout the day. We ask that patrons to our theatre take care to follow proper handwashing and hygiene protocols, such as coughing or sneezing into your elbow, as well.

If you have purchased advance tickets to an event or screening but are feeling ill or showing symptoms, please note that we would be more than happy to assist you in making arrangements to transfer your booking to another future screening or film.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at cinematheque@winnipegfilmgroup.com
