MARKETING FUND

The Marketing Fund was initiated to help film and video artists produce promotional materials for their works by contributing up to 75% of the cost of producing preview DVDs, posters, press kits, etc. This program is open to film and video makers with a variety of different experience levels. Applications for projects can be considered once a project is at least at a rough cut stage.
Applicants must be residents of Manitoba and members of the Winnipeg Film Group. Applicants must be the creator/director of the project, with full artistic control; producers are not eligible to apply.
The Marketing Fund has two rounds yearly – one in spring and one in fall. The maximum request is $900. Applicants can only obtain one Marketing Fund per film or video.
Applicants cannot hold more than one Marketing Fund at any given time; once one award is closed off, an applicant is eligible to apply for another project. Applicants can have concurrent Marketing Fund and Production Fund Awards.
