The National Film Board Vignettes program took place in the late 70’s early 80’s, and are engrained into the “Saturday Morning” fabric of every cartoon law-abiding Canadian. The Vignettes were a sort of animation pre-school for children who were technologically cursed with “farmer vision” (3 television channels). “Vignette Children” would later go through life assuming that Canada’s history was animated and that morphing faces were just a part of growing up.
