HOURS AND TICKET PRICES
Cinematheque regularly operates Wednesdays to Sundays in the evenings, with earlier show time slots on the weekends. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
We are currently a cash-only establishment.
Regular Admission Prices*
- $8 General
- $7 Students and Seniors
- $6 Cinematheque and Winnipeg Film Group members
(The above-listed rates include a $1 capital surcharge, which supports the ongoing improvement of Cinematheque's technical requirements.)
Winnipeg Film Group and Cinematheque members not only have a discounted admission price, but also receive our bi-monthly printed Cinematheque calendar mailed directly to their homes. Membership is open to the general public. Learn about how to become a member.
The box office is open 1/2 hour before showtime.
Advance tickets are available weekdays between 10 AM to 5:30 PM at the Winnipeg Film Group offices (3rd floor, above the Cinematheque) - cash, debit and credit card are accepted. Select advance tickets are also available through our online store.
*NOTE: These are regular admission prices, however ticket prices may vary at times. At times we offer free programs as well as special programs with a higher ticket price than the regular admission fee. Our web listing will indicate if a different ticket price applies.
