EXPERIMENTAL ECHOES takes the audience on a journey through Manitoba's experimental and animated cinematic past. Films and videos from 1973-2001 sample some of the most memorable, the most celebrated, and the most innovative artifacts in our local culture of moving images.  Viewing these pieces in consecutive order, the audience encounters the historical trajectory of the work and the artists that came into their own in this place and created a collective oeuvre unlike any other in the world.
