CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCED

CONGRATS TO JAMES CULLETON

Local artist James Culleton is the winner of this year's Cinematheque T-shirt Design Contest. He created the new Cinematheque T-Shirt which depicts a movie audience watching a film, wearing 3-D glasses, with the Cinematheque logo on the top right shoulder on the back of shirt. Various colours and sizes are available.

Show your support of the Winnipeg Film Group's Cinematheque by sporting one of these great shirts today! T-shirts can be purchased for $25 at our ONLINE STORE or at the Winnipeg Film Group office.

We thank all those who submitted designs for the contest.

James Culleton studied painting and drawing at the University of Manitoba, where he received his BFA Honors in 1997. In 2002 he began using blind contour drawing to document his surroundings and has since published a book called Contouring Quebec, which documents the rediscovery of his french roots using blind contour and a GPS. He is currently working on an exterior art project for the West End Cultural Centre using the same technique.
