BASIC WORKSHOP

Program Overview

The Basic Filmmaking Workshop is a series of workshops held over a five-week period during evenings and some weekends, and provides an intensive introduction to all aspects of independent filmmaking. 

The purpose of the course is to give participants a feeling for the various areas involved in making a film. Our main goal is to provide basic training to support the development of emerging filmmakers who will go on to work on their own independent films. At the same time, we also support the development of other creative roles in film, including screenwriters, directors of photography and editors.

  • SUMMER TEEN FILM CAMP 2012

    This camp will expose teens to the basic components of film and video production. There are two sessions (2 weeks each) available to select from - session 1: Jul 23 to Aug 3 and session 2: Aug 6 to Aug 17.
